Chattanooga-area TNR clinics
McKamey Animal Center
4500 North Access Road, Chattanooga | 423-305-6500
Feral/community cat policies:
- Drop off Wednesdays only, between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Pick up is the same day between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
- Because McKamey doesn’t keep feral cats overnight for recovery, you must keep the cat in his trap, indoors in a quiet, calm recovery area away from household animals for at least one more night (usually the same area you kept the cats safe the night before surgery).
- Cats must be brought in a humane trap (not a carrier) if feral or unable to be handled.
- Limit of two cats per person/organization, total of 20 cats accepted total.
- Cost is $35 for the first cat, $25 for the second. Cats will receive surgery (spay or neuter), a rabies vaccine, and an ear tip.
- Humane traps can be borrowed for a fee (see their website for info).
- If you’ll be performing TNR for the first time, please review our how-to guide first.
